God asks us, “What have you done with what I have given you.”

What have you done with the eyes that I have given you?
Did you gaze upon the beautiful daisies in the field?
Did you watch the birds flying?
Did you notice the clouds in the sky, the leaves on the trees, or the sand on the beach?
Did you ever witness a sunrise or a sun set?

What have you done with the feet that I have given you?
Did you skip through a park or chase a firefly?
Did you run a marathon or take a dog for a walk?
Did you dance to a tune known by only you?
Did you dip your toes into the ocean on a warm summer night?

What have you done with the hands that I have given you?
Did you shake the hand of a stranger?
Did you bake a cake or a pie?
Did you touch the ebony and ivory keys on the piano?
Did you hold a new born baby?

Having eyes to see, feet to walk, and hands to hold things are simple gifts that God has given you.
Yet we still ask for more.
What have you done with these gifts that God has given you?
Have you taken them for granted?

There is so much beauty in the world.
Stop, look, and feel the beauty that this life has to offer.
Tomorrow is simply tomorrow, but today is what counts.
God has given us all that we need.
Make it count.
